Step 1 – install a thin layer of concrete on the floor to create an incline plane towards the drain.
Step 2 – install prefabricated molds on the walls.
Step 3 – install the fiberglass fabric by adhering it to the surface with epoxy.
Step 4 –The fiberglass should be glued to the center of the floor surface and at all corners, as well as to the area where the seat will be installed.
Step 5 – When the fiberglass is completely dry, apply another layer of concrete on top of the fiberglass sheets. I normally apply 2 inches of concrete and make sure I maintain the slope towards the drain.
After that, you’re ready to install the tile. Víctor Escobedo, Pflugerville, Texas
Use vinegar when painting fences
When painting wrought iron fences, first scrape them and then remove the paint using a scraper or putty knife. Next, wash the fence with white vinegar and you’re ready to paint. Always use quality paint. Ricardo Ruiz Crespo, Quebradillas, Puerto Rico
How to drill holes on ceramic floors or walls
Before you begin drilling, place the tip of a nail on the spot where you want to drill the ceramic material and tap it slightly with a hammer. This will mark the point where the drill bit will enter. Then drill using the drill at its lowest speed and don't force your way in to avoid breaking the tile.
