18V Cordless Impact Driver delivers more torque

By delivering more power in a smaller, lighter weight package, cordless impact drivers are making themselves indispensible on the job site. The combination of bit rotation and concussive blows provides improved screw-driving power, but requires less muscle so users experience far less fatigue.

The model BTD141 from Makita is an 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Impact Driver that delivers 1,330 inch-pounds of torque, but weighs only 3.4 pounds. The driver features a “one-touch” chuck for faster, easier bit changes, and the built-in LED light helps illuminate the work. An ergonomic design makes it the perfect choice for a full day of fastening screws, tightening lag bolts, drilling holes and much more. Power is supplied by Makita’s 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Battery and Rapid Optimum Charging System for 2 1/2 times more battery cycles than a traditional Ni-Cd battery. Two batteries are included with the kit.
